Regulate Yours, LLC · Salem, MA
Remote, In-Person, or Hybrid — Your Choice | 1099 Independent Contractor | 65/35 Split + Weekly Pay | Immediate Opening
About Us
Regulate Yours, LLC is an outpatient mental health private practice based in Salem, MA. We are a clinician-led group practice built on the belief that great therapists deserve great infrastructure — so they can focus on their clients and grow their practice without the administrative burden of going it alone. We offer independently licensed clinicians the resources of a group practice with the autonomy of private practice.
The Opportunity
This is a true 1099 independent contractor role designed for fully licensed clinicians who want the freedom to run their own caseload while benefiting from the infrastructure, credentialing, billing support, and referral network of an established group practice.
You set your own schedule. You choose your modality — fully remote, in-person at our Salem office, at your own location, or a hybrid of all three. You decide which referrals to accept. We handle the billing, the EHR, and the administrative overhead — and we pay you weekly, not after insurance settles.
Who This Role Is For
This position is for clinicians holding full, independent licensure in Massachusetts who are already credentialed with insurance carriers or are eligible and ready to get credentialed:
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW)
Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)
This is an ideal fit if you're ready to build or grow a private practice caseload, want the backing of a group without giving up your independence, or are transitioning out of an agency or W2 role and want a supported landing pad.
Compensation — How It Works
We pay differently than most group practices — and intentionally so. Rather than making you wait on insurance reimbursements to see your money, we guarantee $50 per completed session, paid weekly for the prior week's sessions. At the end of each month, we reconcile total insurance collections against what was already paid out, and you receive a separate check for the difference — bringing you to your full 65% of collections. You also have direct access to the billing section of our EHR (TherapyNotes) so you can see exactly what's been collected at any time.
As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, self-employment contributions, and malpractice/liability insurance. Regulate Yours must be listed as an additional insured on your policy.
Your Autonomy
Set your own schedule — no minimum hours or session requirements beyond maintaining an active caseload of at least 5 sessions per week
Choose your work setting: fully remote via telehealth, in-person at our Salem office, at your own separate office location, or any combination
Build your own caseload — you may source your own clients and/or accept referrals from Regulate Yours at your discretion
Accept or decline any referral we send — no obligation, no pressure
Practice under your own clinical identity within the Regulate Yours network

Why Regulate Yours
We built this contractor model because we know what independently licensed clinicians actually want: to do great clinical work, keep more of what they earn, and not spend evenings chasing insurance claims or managing billing software. We handle the back end. You focus on your clients. And unlike most group practices, we don't make you wait weeks for your money — your weekly pay starts from your first completed session.
We are a small, clinician-led practice that values transparency, autonomy, and doing things the right way. If that sounds like the kind of partner you've been looking for, we'd love to talk.
